1999 Silver Dun AQHA ~ 15.3 hh ~ Stud Fee - $450.00 Minimum Bid - $225.00 ~ Live Cover - Shipped Semen Shipped Semen - $150.00 + actual cost of shipping Disposable container - $30.00 Appaloosa Mares Only Mare Care - Per Day: Wet - $8.00 Dry - $6.00 Mare's Health Requirements: Negative Coggins & Health Certificate Clean culture on barren mares It's not often that you see a Quarter Horse stallion as a headliner for an Appaloosa program, but Skip is an exception to the rule. This versatile athlete outgrew his roots when he hit 15.3 as a three year old, but he never lost his agility as a working bred horse. His movement is exquisite and he can extend out with the best of them. His rocking chair canter is a dream to ride and he can slow down or engage as needed. Even better is Skip's disposition and work ethic. He is quiet and willing, and does not fuss at other horses or mares. His work ethic is solid and he tries his heart out for Kris during his training sessions. His favorite activity is when people come to visit the farm where he vies for everyone's attention and is ecstatic that people came to see him. Rest assured you'll fall in love with him when he bats his baby browns at you! Skip's color is unique and turns everyone's head. Classified as a "silver dun" by Sponenberg, Skip carries both the dun gene (d) and the creme gene (ccr). We would like to caution those mare owners who have palomino or buckskin mares about the possibility of getting a cremello or perlino foal by breeding to Skip.
